With over two decades of experience in personal injury litigation and institutional abuse law, Kimberly Allen is a highly capable practitioner, leader, and advocate. She is known for her strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for vulnerable clients.

Kimberly has practised extensively in personal injury and abuse law since her admission in 2008. She spent almost two decades at a national personal injury law firm, where she held a range of roles across both frontline client representation and senior leadership. Through this work, she developed significant litigation experience and a high level of expertise in handling complex claims.

In 2023, Kimberly accepted a role as Legal Practice Director at a statewide for-purpose organisation providing free legal advice and support services to vulnerable clients experiencing domestic and family violence across Queensland. As part of the executive leadership team, she oversaw multidisciplinary specialist legal teams delivering services in the areas of family law, domestic violence law, criminal law, and migration law. She also worked closely with government and sector stakeholders to support coordinated, trauma informed responses for clients.

Kimberly chose a career in law after seeing firsthand the power of the legal system to create real change in people’s lives. She values the ability to achieve outcomes for individual clients while also advocating for broader systemic improvement. Her work is grounded in a strong commitment to social justice, fairness, and ensuring that people who have experienced harm are supported, heard, and empowered throughout the legal process.

She values and recognises the responsibility and privilege of the legal profession to uphold the rule of law, advocate for change when it is needed, and provide clear guidance through the justice system for those who need it most. She is particularly committed to improving access to justice, holding institutions and perpetrators accountable, and promoting dignity, autonomy, and equality for clients navigating complex legal pathways.

Kimberly brings to her clients a combination of extensive technical expertise in personal injury and abuse litigation, senior level strategic judgment and leadership in complex matters, and a commitment to providing trauma informed client care. She ensures her clients are given clear, practical, and meaningful advice throughout every stage of a claim, while always ensuring they feel supported, informed, and respected.
