Ocean Desta-Gebru Administration Assistant

Ocean Desta-Gebru is a legal administration assistant in the TPD team at Evolve Legal. With prior experience in Wills and Estates law, Ocean has developed sufficient legal knowledge and a strong commitment to client service. Her personable nature and genuine empathy have drawn her to TPD law, where she finds immense satisfaction in helping clients navigate challenging times. She is passionate about providing resources that make life easier for clients during stressful and difficult times.

Ocean is currently pursuing her tertiary studies at the University of Queensland, where she is undertaking a Bachelor of Journalism/ Laws (Honours). Through her involvement with the UQ Pro Bono Centre, she actively contributes to the Human Rights Case Law Project, in case research and drafting case notes.

With her Tigrayan cultural background, Ocean has developed a strong ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. She is dedicated to providing compassionate support and always strives to understand clients’ concerns and goals.
