What if my accident was a long time ago?
In Queensland, strict time limits apply to personal injury claims after a car accident. In most cases, you have three years from the accident date to start court proceedings.
If the accident happened a while ago, you should seek legal advice as soon as possible. There may be limited circumstances where more time is available.
